We had such a wonderful time at Harcourts Dancing for Hospice on Saturday night. The talent, courage and commitment shown by every dancer was incredible, and the atmosphere in the room was something pretty special.
A night of courage on the dance floor
It takes a huge amount of work to learn, rehearse and then perform in front of a packed crowd. We have so much respect for every dancer who stepped outside their comfort zone and gave it everything they had to raise funds for such an important local cause.
A massive congratulations to Deborah and Paul, whose beautiful performance captured everyone's hearts and earned them a very well-deserved win.
Why Hospice matters
Rotorua Community Hospice provides invaluable palliative care and support to people and families in our community, completely free of charge. Events like this are a brilliant reminder of how fortunate we are to have this service, and how important it is that we continue to support it.
For Gary and Jenn, this event means a great deal. Supporting Rotorua Community Hospice is a cause very close to both of their hearts, and they have proudly supported Harcourts Dancing for Hospice for many years. Seeing so many people come together to back the incredible work Hospice does makes it a night that means more than words can say.
